I firmly believe that photography is a powerful force for good in this world.
i would go out on to streets and travel capturing this upheavel ,photographing people i came across ,like this monk.i never posed my pictures .i shot scenes as i found them.i can remember seeing this budha statue at the ajanta caves in aurangabad ,mumbai . and thinking it was rather artistic but i wanted a human face. suddenly a monk was came wearing while cloths,so i waited and took one shot. i like the contrast between the face of statue budha and his head. the most interesting fact is that ,this all happened only two second . and it took me one second to click this shot.otherwise i would have lost this shot and the monk just took one second moment there..
in the point of my view this photographs represent the optimism, devotional worship.
