Comment: This is composited from over 400 photos to make a series of star trails. Inspired by Vincent van Gogh's “The Starry Night” and then further edited to remove objects such as planes and satellites I created this image to do more than simply revere an artist and preserve a memory. The dynamic yet balanced swirls of stars are intended to lead the viewer to an emotional rollercoaster of ordered chaos with the central focal point being the north star representing one universal direction.
