Comment: The pursuit of sable fur was the main reason for the development of the Urals and Siberia: the trade in soft junk eventually turned Muscovy into a great empire. For almost six centuries, the valuable species was constantly exterminated and gradually began to disappear. By 1935, two to three hundred live sables remained around the world. A ban was placed on their shooting for many years. Scientists unanimously affirm: "Sable is an extremely tolerant and kind animal with its small warm heart, sincerely disposed towards a person."
