Comment: The photo was taken on Lake Arakul, Middle Urals. The fish in the photograph is called a chebak (lat.Rutilus rutilus). This is an unpretentious fish that lives near natural shelters - snags, stones and aquatic plants. Depending on the subspecies, the body length can reach from 10 to 30 cm. It feeds on algae, insects and worms.
